Community Support Program (CSP): A person or team responsible for helping a consumer make informed choices about available services and assuring coordination of those services and access to personal support.

Community Services: Information and referral assistance, community education, mental illness prevention activities, and/or consultation/training to staff of provider agencies.

Crisis Intervention: Provides 24-hour, immediate response to mental health consumers who are experiencing a mental health crisis. Response is directed toward helping both the consumer and others involved to cope with mental health crisis, while assisting the consumer remain in the community and avoid hospitalization to the greatest extent possible. Employment/Vocational Services: Helps mental health consumers prepare for, find and maintain appropriate employment opportunities.

Housing/Residential Services: Provides housing options to mental health consumers, ranging from 24-hour residential treatment to staffed group housing programs to periodic support of persons living independently.

Outpatient Services: Provides medical and mental health care to consumers, including diagnostic evaluation, medication treatment, psychotherapy/counseling services and partial hospitalization. Partial hospitalization is a treatment program where consumers receive transitional and rehabilitative services that allow for earlier discharge from an inpatient program to other outpatient services.

Other Mental Health Services: Includes nontraditional services, such as therapeutic and specialized foster care, respite services, clubhouse and transportation services.
